Meet our speaker

Leads the Regional Office of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) since 2018, in charge of building capacities and supporting South American countries to comply with international civil aviation provisions.

With experience in transport and aviation management and planning, he was Head of the Airport Infrastructure Department and Chief Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Aviation Authority; Director of Airport Management at the Civil Aviation Secretariat of the Presidency Republic of Brazil; Technical Manager of Facilitation and Manager at the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the same country. He has worked in planning and projects of urban transportation and traffic and optimization studies of airline operations.

Holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba.
