Atif is SANS’s Executive Director of Safety, Quality, and Environment (SQE). With over 30 years’ experience he started his career at SANS as a traffic controller before holding various roles in operational management, training, ATM development, innovation, virtual towers, and safety. Atif is passionate about improving safety through practical, data-based approaches, reinforcing governance processes and promoting a strong safety culture.
