CANSO and EUROCONTROL partner on safety
The Chair Teams of the CANSO European Safety Directors group (CESAF) and the EUROCONTROL Safety Team have today signed a cooperation agreement.
The cooperation between CESAF and the EUROCONTROL Safety Team will comprise various types of activities, including:
- Exchanging safety-related information
- Sharing expertise and best practice
- Cross-participation in working groups
- Coordinating EUROCONTROL Safety Team and CESAF work plans
- Developing joint positions and recommendations
- Coordinating engagement with regulatory and legislative authorities, vendors and media
The joint working will ensure both parties are better prepared to maintain and improve the safety of the European sky during the current pandemic, and safely address future challenges
