Indra consolidates its global leadership of Air Traffic Management (ATM) with the launch of its subsidiary in the USA, Indra Air Traffic Inc.
- Indra made the launch of its new company official, at an event held Overland Park, Kansas, attended by US Senator Jerry Moran; Congresswoman Sharice L. Davids; Kansas Deputy Secretary of Commerce, Paul Hughes; the City Council President of Overland Park, Jim Kite, and executives from Indra
- After acquiring the air traffic business line of Selex ES, Indra is gaining a strong foothold in the US, where it will put its comprehensive advanced portfolio of products and services and its 40 years of experience at the service of air infrastructure renewal
- With this step, the company will become a supplier to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the US Air Force and the US Navy, among other important customers, and reinforce its position as a global leader of ATM, particularly in the field of navigation aid systems
- The creation of a center of excellence for air navigation aid systems in Overland Park, from where service will be provided to customers in the US and the rest of the world, will be the first step in an industrial plan to add to Indra’s other capabilities
