Obed Frimpong is Director of International Aviation Regulatory Affairs at Zipline, where he supports regulatory strategy, operational approvals and airspace integration across several African markets. With an academic background in aerospace engineering, he began his career at Zipline in flight operations before moving into aviation compliance and regulatory affairs. His work focuses on enabling safe, scalable BVLOS operations through engagement with civil aviation authorities, air navigation service providers and security agencies. His broader interests include UTM, emerging technology policy, regulatory innovation and the growing role of artificial intelligence in aviation and public policy.
