Hermizan Jumari is an air navigation services (ANS) professional with over 30 years of experience in air traffic management (ATM) across the Asia-Pacific region. He currently serves as Director of ANS Policy and concurrently Director of ANS Planning & Development in the Next Generation Programme Office at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).

In his roles, Hermizan leads the development of national and international airspace policies to ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable provision of ANS. He oversees efforts to safeguard aircraft operations from obstacle-related hazards and works closely with government and industry partners to enable the safe conduct of aerial activities within Singapore’s national airspace.

He also drives the planning and development of next-generation ATM concepts and systems, ensuring that Singapore’s ANS capabilities remain future-ready amid growing aviation demand. Hermizan joined CAAS in 1996 and holds an Air Traffic Control licence with Area Control (Enroute) Procedural and Surveillance ratings.
