Robert joined NATS in 1988 and enjoyed a 15-year career in operational Air Traffic Control at the London Air traffic Control Centre where he specialised in airspace covering the South and Southeast corners of the UK. He then moved to an International Relations role with a specific focus on the relationship between NATS and the European Agency, EUROCONTROL. At the start of 2020 Robert joined the NATS Cyber team as their Threat and Risk lead and has developed a strategic overview capability which allows cyber thinking and considerations to be built into many projects and system development conversations across the company. Robert Chairs or Vice-Chairs a number of International cyber groups and represents CANSO on the ICAO Cybersecurity Panel.
