Sascha Wirfs is a seasoned air traffic management (ATM) sales leader with extensive international experience in advancing innovative tower and surveillance solutions for both civil and military aviation. In his current role as Director Sales Air Traffic Control at Rohde & Schwarz, he is responsible for global sales and relationship management of all ATM customers. He supports ANSPs and defense customers worldwide to modernize operations through next generation voice communication solutions.
In addition to his commercial leadership, Sascha brings deep operational expertise from his earlier career as both a military and civil air traffic controller in Germany, giving him firsthand insight into the practical challenges and safety critical demands of ATM operations.
Throughout his career, he has supported global aviation stakeholders in implementing scalable, future ready ATM systems, collaborating closely with both civilian ANSPs and military organizations to enhance situational awareness and operational robustness. He brings a practical, customer focused perspective on how digital transformation can strengthen safety and resilience across the air traffic management domain.
