Overview:
Safety is not just about systems and processes it’s about people. This fireside chat takes a human-centered look at Standards of Excellence (SoE) within Safety Management Systems (SMS) by better understanding the purpose to the SMS process.

This session brings experts from EUROCONTROL and CANSO together to help organisations understand why the SoE in SMS is a journey and not a destination. Does your organisation need a business case for safety improvements? What do best practices really mean? This session will also touch on recent enhancements such as the onboarding process and Pathway to Participation.

The conversation aims to uncover common themes, highlight missed opportunities, and inspire new ways to foster sustained engagement across the safety community.
