CANSO Academy: Handling Unauthorised Drone Incidents – A Best Practice Webinar
Drone incursions — whether inadvertent, non-cooperative, or malicious — pose a growing challenge to the safety, efficiency, and security of air navigation and aerodrome operations.
The rapid proliferation of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) has brought new uncertainties into previously well-controlled environments, demanding agile yet robust responses from air navigation service providers (ANSPs), aerodrome operators, regulators, and law enforcement.
This webinar brought together experts from across the aviation ecosystem to explore how to prepare for, and respond to, drone incursion events. Through operational insights, best practices, and interactive questions and answers, participants gained a toolkit of strategies and approaches to enhance resilience and ensure safe airspace operations in the face of emerging drone risks.
