Organisation overview

The TELERAD company is specialized in the design, development, and manufacturing of Ground-to-Air aeronautical radio communication systems used  in Air Traffic Control.

This equipment plays a major role in air navigation safety since they establish the communications between aircrafts and Ground Control Towers or Area Control Centers.

With a 70-year experience in designing and manufacturing radio systems, TELERAD is now unanimously considered as a top-grade quality supplier.

TELERAD’s equipment is in operation 24/7 in over 70 countries, some of them uninterruptedly for several decades.

Our vast range of VHF, UHF and V/UHF equipment can be supplied as is, or integrated in a turnkey project.

Our system engineering team can support you to design, install and commission your complete communication system.

TELERAD supports its old generation of equipment, to offer a smooth transition to customers renewing their systems.

We are actively involved in most of the international working groups to define new standards for Ground-to-Air applications.

Our company is entirely based in Anglet, in the South-West French region known as the Basque Country.

Our facilities include all the phases of the industrial process (design, sales, manufacturing, test…). We limit the outsourcing to the minimum extent and keep a total control over our products and their quality.
