Regional Focus: CANSO Africa / ICAO Global Reporting Format (GRF) implementation awareness

This CANSO Africa / ICAO Global Reporting Format (GRF) implementation awareness webinar, organised in partnership with the ICAO Eastern and Southern Africa (ESAF) Office, will take place on Wednesday 27 May, 11:00 – 13:15 CEST offering insight to CANSO members on the new ICAO GRF.

The Global Reporting Format (GRF) is a methodology for assessing and reporting runway surface conditions, and will ensure a harmonised assessment and reporting of runway surface conditions and improved flight crew assessment of take-off and landing.

This CANSO webinar, delivered in partnership with ICAO, will explore the new GRF due for implementation on 5 November 2020, and the steps aviation stakeholders in Africa need to take to be prepared.
