CANSO CEO Strategy Summit 2018

The CANSO CEO Strategy Summit 2018 took place on Monday 5 March, from 9:00-15:00

The CANSO CEO Strategy Summit 2018 was a highly interactive event that provided delegates with the opportunity to meet and engage with some 250 key decision-makers in air traffic management. CANSO Member CEOs engaged in open dialogue and informed proposals for the new strategic direction for CANSO and the ATM industry. This provides a framework for the future of CANSO and ATM and how CANSO Members can best approach the challenges and opportunities that face the future ATM industry.

In addition, the Summit featured a thought-provoking keynote speech by Jonathan Neale, Chief Operating Officer of McLaren Technology Group on ‘Delivering optimal operations in a high pressure environment.’ Just like ATM, Formula1 is a highly dynamic, data-centric, safety- and regulation-critical environment, always operating in the public eye. Jonathan Neale explained the evolution of the world’s most technologically advanced sport, with the focus on McLaren’s ‘human-in-the-loop’ approach to operating in this challenging business.
