CANSO Global ATM Safety Conference 2015
The CANSO Global ATM Safety Conference took place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 18 – 23 October. The conference has addressed a large range of safety issues including: encouraging a safety culture; improving runway safety; measuring safety performance; human performance management; standard of excellence in air navigation services; and the lessons learned from safely managing increased air traffic during the Football World Cup and the forthcoming Olympics in Brazil. The proposed CANSO Safety Standard Programme was introduced and discussed.
