Vancouver Airport’s next-generation digital apron control system
Indra will provide Vancouver International Airport (YVR) with the industry’s most advanced digital apron control system as the airport operator, Vancouver Airport Authority, now establishes its Digital Apron Control Center (DACC). This enables YVR to, as a first step, take control of the airport’s apron management services. The project aims to enhance efficiency, secure situational awareness, and improve service to the airport’s users. The solution will be the platform for the airport’s ambitions of becoming a smart airport.
The session will give an insight into the drivers of the project, the technology platform and the implications for the apron controllers. The presentation is a cooperation between YVR and Indra.
