NAV CANADA plays a unique and critical role managing the 18 million square kilometres of Canadian civil airspace and the North Atlantic oceanic airspace under Canada’s control. With over 100 staffed sites, 5,300 employees, and 45,000 customers, NAV CANADA is a publicly accountable, non-share capital corporation with operations from coast-to-coast-to-coast. It is one of the few fully private companies in the world wholly responsible for air traffic control, flight information, and other aeronautical services.

NAV CANADA operates independently of government funding and is not a government department or agency. The company is fully financed through publicly traded debt, maintaining a strong AA credit rating and benefiting from one of the lowest costs of capital among Canadian corporations.

With the upcoming retirement of the incumbent, NAV CANADA is searching for a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation through its next period of significant transformation.
